Did you know that getting enough sleep can actually help you lose weight? 😴

Getting enough sleep is just as important as your diet and exercise.

When you don’t get enough sleep your appetite increases. Because of lack of sleep your body produces more of the hormone Grehlin that signals hunger in your brain. Cortisol is also released. Even though it’s a stress hormone, it has been known to increase appetite as well.

On top of more hormones being released, sleep deprivation makes it harder to make healthy choices because practicing self control is tough when you’re exhausted.

An easy way to make sure you’re getting enough sleep is to go to sleep and wake up at the same time every day. Yes, even on the weekends!
